About our doctor

             Dr. Florence Griffith is originally from Vichy, France. She came to Rosenberg, Texas after graduating high school in 1999 as a Rotary Exchange Student and fell in love with both her husband and Texas.

​

             After her exchange year, she went back to her hometown and went to school there to study opticianry. She graduated with a BTS Opticien-lunetier with great honor from the Lycee Valery Larbaud. As she was completing her externship, she realized that she wanted to continue her studies and become an optometrist.

​

              Dr. Griffith got her Bachelor of Sciences in Biology from the University of Houston and then her Doctorate of Optometry summa cum laude from the University of Houston College of Optometry.

​

              Dr. Griffith has been practicing optometry for the last 12 year years in Sealy, Texas. She has been a Katy/Fulshear resident for the past 13 years and can't wait to see patients from the Katy area. 

​

               She enjoys live music, traveling and spending time with her three kids and husband. She also loves watching her children either playing sports or being on stage. In her spare time, you can find her either on her peloton bike, tread or the peloton app.
